Updating levels and color models


Once updated, you can no longer use levels and color models with your old version of Animo. We strongly recommend you backup your files before updating them, so you can continue to use them with your old version of Animo if necessary.

There are two ways you can update your levels and/or color models. See Loading the levels and color models into Animo 2.0 below, or Using the ipupdate utility below.

Loading the levels and color models into Animo 2.0

You can update a level or color model by loading it into an Animo 2.0 application (e.g. InkPaint, Director). A warning panel appears, informing you that the file needs updating; for example, Level ... needs to be updated before it can be accessed. You can choose either to Update the file, overwriting the original version; or to Cancel the load.
